, &
Pages 151-166 | Published online: 23 Feb 2007

Abstract

The assessment and evaluation of a course refers to the selection and implementation of methods used to determine whether and how well the course's objectives have been achieved, and to the interpretation of results. Researchers and educators have extensively discussed various methods to assess the learning performance of students. This paper develops an assessment tool that can be used to measure the level of achievement of the learning objectives for a construction capstone course. The development of the assessment tool employs the concept of quality function deployment (QFD), a technique used to measure the service quality of an organization.
