Abstract
Synthetic aromatic polyarylether ketones are known for their high performance applications. Poly(ether ether ketone) is an important material which is most widely used in such aggressive environments as nuclear plants, oil and geothermal wells, chemical plants, and high-pressure steam valves. Considering the wide range of properties of PEEK polymers, a variety of structurally modified PEEK polymers are also reported. This review covers the detail of different synthetic and modification procedure, the characterization technique applied on PEEK. In brief, morphological and related properties are also described.
