ABSTRACT
#RedFlag is designed to help students understand relational dissolution at the theoretical and applied level by identifying red- and green-flag communicative behaviors during relational dissolution and by role-playing relational dissolution situations for various relationship types.
Courses
Interpersonal Communication, Relational Communication, and Basic Communication Courses.
Objectives
By completing this activity, students should be able to (1) understand relational dissolution at a theoretical and applied level; (2) understand the importance of effective communication, active listening skills, assertiveness, and the ability to express thoughts or feelings without blame; and (3) identify constructive and destructive communication behaviors that can occur during relationship dissolution.
