Dear Reader

, RVN

Welcome to this special issue of the VNJ. COVID-19 has affected all our lives and it has led to many changes in the way we approach nursing practice.

We have had to adapt our publishing practice for this issue and we have combined content from September, October, November and December to create this bumper issue for you.

It is filled with topics from wildlife nursing to equine arthroscopy. Nicky Ackerley gives some great employment advice as usual and you have a sneak preview at new innovations in Science in Shorts.

Jo Hinde signs off as the BVNA President and Jo Oakden gives her thoughts for her upcoming Presidential year. I hope you enjoy this issue.

Oh, just to let you know that Luci and Lily are doing well. Lily is growing like crazy; she is at the stage where her body has grown but her head hasn’t caught up yet so looks very peculiar. I can’t wait to see how she grows up.

Take care,

Nikki
