Susana Martínez Guillem is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication & Journalism at the University of New Mexico, USA. Her research interests are in critical discourse studies and cultural studies, with a special focus on racism and racialization processes. Her work has appeared in several internationally recognized journals, including Critical Studies in Media Communication, Critical Discourse Studies, and European Journal of Cultural Studies.
