ABSTRACT

Artists are memorializing the Kisan Mazdoor Andolan in India through visual, spoken and performing arts. This article examines two selected artworks – one a painting and the other a digital piece. Both the works highlight the strong participation of women in this historic farm protest ongoing in India at this time.
