S.D. Brown

S.D. Brown was born in Kingston, Jamaica. She received a BA in liberal arts from the New School for Social Research in New York City in 1990 and an MS in literacy from Adelphi University. Her short story “A View From Across the Soursop Tree” was published (under the name Sandra Brown) in 2019 in Anthurium: A Caribbean Studies Journal. Her two short stories “Love with the Calypso Cricketer” and “Love and Decline Amid the Crown Heights Riots” were published in the 34th issue of The Caribbean Writer. “A Crack in the Well” appeared in Sargasso: Digital Library of the Caribbean. “Where My Father Lies” is forthcoming in Two Thirds North in 2024.
