Abstract
This paper is devoted to discuss the features of various reflected waves in an infinite, homogeneous, isotropic magneto-thermoelastic medium with microconcentrations and diffusion. The problem is solved analytically and it is found that there exist four kinds of coupled dilatational waves in addition to transverse and microconcentration waves. Reflection coefficients and their respective energy ratios are computed analytically. The modulus values of reflection coefficients are presented graphically and the nature of variations of these coefficients with angle of incidence for different values of magnetic and diffusive parameters are analyzed. The conservation of the energy at the surface is also validated.
