Abstract
Present work deals with the investigation of disturbances in a two-dimensional functionally graded thermoelastic medium with microtemperatures. The study is carried out under the influence of rotation and magnetic field. Exact solution of the problem is obtained by using normal mode analysis and expressions for different field variables such as displacement, stresses, temperature and microtemperatures are obtained in physical domain. After theoretical and numerical calculations of the physical variables, corresponding graphs have been drawn to illustrate the effects of nonhomogeneity parameter, magnetic field, rotation and time on field variables with the help of MATLAB software.
