Abstract
The couple non-local elasticity theory is employed to discuss the reflection of magneto-thermoelastic waves in semiconductors in this paper. The effect of Hall current with the help of an external magnetic field is also studied on the propagating waves. Thermal effects in the context of heat equation of fractional order are also investigated. The Helmholtz method is used to decompose the displacement vector into its components. Four coupled waves are propagating in the medium. The amplitude ratios of the waves are computed. The conservation of energy flux is verified. The obtained results are also checked graphically under various physical parameters. Some earlier published results are successfully obtained in the absence of Hall current.
