Disseminating research to different audiences: lessons learned from the UNICEF Innocenti Report Card Project

Abstract

As the academic world becomes increasingly aware of the need to improve the dissemination of research, this article considers some of the theoretical issues involved in the communication of research to non-specialist audiences. It also demonstrates how theory can be put into practice using the case study of a UNICEF Innocenti Report Card on childhood injury.
