Singh VK, Thrall KD, Hauer-Jensen M. Minipigs as models in drug discovery. Expert Opin Drug Discov. 2016 Dec;11(12):1131–1134. DOI:10.1080/17460441.2016.1223039

The authors of the paper have clarified that Reference 7 is a review article which refers to the original work of Neupogen in minipigs (Moroni M, Ngudiankama BF, Christensen C, et al. The Gottingen minipig is a model of the hematopoietic acute radiation syndrome: G-colony stimulating factor stimulates hematopoiesis and enhances survival from lethal total-body γ-irradiation. Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys. 2010;86:986–992). The authors would also like to highlight a reference to the original work with Neulasta in minipigs: Sanzari JK, Krigsfeld GS, Shuman AL, et al. Effects of a granulocyte colony stimulating factor, Neulasta, in mini pigs exposed to total body proton irradiation. Life Sci Space Res (Amst) 2015;5:13–20.
