When the above article was first published online, the authors wrote that:
“In addition to articles and notices in academic outlets, in 1991, Biklen published a piece in the New York Times Magazine, touting FC as a remarkable innovation in autism treatment.”
This has now been corrected in both the print and online versions to:
“In addition to articles and notices in academic outlets, in 1991, Biklen was featured in a piece in the New York Times Magazine, which touted FC as a remarkable innovation in autism treatment.”
The authors apologise for this error.
