DM – diabetes mellitus, AD – antidiabetic. *Diagnosis of the disease or condition, **Total of number the patients interviewed, included those don’t know if they have DM and those say not to have DM. As a result, the number listed with DM1 and DM2 may be less than the total number.

Furthermore, a number of minor edits have been made on page 742. The corrected sentences are as follows:

Page 742, line 1, first column: “A total of 61% had studied for at least eight years.”

Page 742, line 9, first column: “A total of 43% of the DM patients were hypertensive and 24% were obese. Dyslipidemia was observed in 45 (41%), who typically took simvastatin”.

Page 742, line 24, first column: “A total of 71% of patients had studied for less than eight years.”

Page 742, line 28, first column: “All patients took DM-specific medication, 61% of whom took insulin or analogues combined with oral antidiabetic medication and 39% had monotherapy”.
