When the above article was published online and in print, the author stated that four major Japanese newspapers, namely Asahi, Yomiuri, Mainichi, and Nikkei failed to report the outcome of the Bali COP13 correctly. However, Asahi reported correctly along with Kyodo News. Therefore, inadequate reports were done by three newspapers – Yomiuri, Mainichi, and Nikkei.
The reference citations in the article as indicated below which were published in Asahi Shimbun should be deleted and not referenced:
