This article refers to:
Sound production treatment for acquired apraxia of speech: Effects of blocked and random practice on multisyllabic word production

Wambaugh, J., Nessler, C., Wright, S., Mauszyycki, S., Delong, C. 2015. Sound Production Treatment for Acquired Apraxia of Speech: Effects of Blocked and Random Practice on Multisyllabic Word Production. International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology, 18, 450-464. DOI: 10.3109/17549507.2015.1101161

When the above article was first published online, it contained an error in the analysis of Participant 2’s probe data: one treated item was tallied as a generalisation item and one generalisation item was tallied as a treated item (for the Blocked Phase items). This resulted in incorrect graphing of probe data in Figure 2 and erroneous effect size calculations for Participant 2. The corrections did not result in changes in our interpretation of Participant 2’s results.

This error has now been corrected throughout the article as follows:

Table III. Effect sizes for treatment and follow-up phases: d-Index values.

short-legendFigure 2.

Participant 2. Effect sizes were greater for items that received SPT-R for treatment and follow-up phases: treatment phase effects = 10.12 (blocked) and 15.51 (random), and follow-up phase effects = 6.94 (blocked) and 9.5 (random).
