Notes on contributors

Jacques Bréjoux

Jacques Bréjoux leads the paper mill Moulin du Verger in Puymoyen, France since 1972. Self-taught, he managed over the years to reconstruct traditional Western printing and writing paper and to revive a craft that had been lost since the late nineteenth century. Since 2006, he has been directing workshops at the Moulin du Verger. In 2016, he was honoured with the title of Maître d’Art by the French Minister of Culture. He teaches at the Institut National du Patrimoine in Paris, France and regularly presents on the history and papermaking techniques all over the world.
