In the article by L. C. Miccio-Fonseca and Lucinda A. Rasmussen entitled “Applicability of MEGA to Sexually Abusive Youth With Low Intellectual Functioning” and published in the Journal of Mental Health Research in Intellectual Disabilities, 6(1), 42–59, some terminology was presented incorrectly:

On page 43, the phrase “Gilby, Wolf, and Goldberg (1989) and Blasingame (2005) referred to their samples as ‘developmentally delayed youth,’ …” should be replaced with the following text:

Gilby, Wolf, and Goldberg (1989) referred to their sample as “mentally retarded adolescent sex offenders,” while Blasingame (2005) referred to his sample as “developmentally disabled youth,” …

On page 44, the phrase “Gilby and colleagues’ (1989) study of sexually abusive male adolescents (N = 196) found ‘developmental delayed youth’ (Gilby's term for this population) …” should be replaced with the following text:

Gilby and colleagues’ (1989) study of sexually abusive male adolescents found “mentally retarded adolescent sex offenders” (Gilby's term for this population) …
