Cathy M. Dzerefos

Dr. Cathy M. Dzerefos is a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Mathematics, Sciences and Technology Education at North-West University. Cathy has engaged in community-based action research with indigenous people of the Limpopo and North West Provinces of South Africa and supported schools on the eco-schools program. She has a special interest in edible insects, medicinal plants, and mistletoes.

Luiza O. de Sousa

Dr. Luiza O. de Sousa is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Education at North-West University in the Geography Education and Environmental Education Department. Luiza researches in pre-service and in-service teacher education. She has a strong focus on environmental education for sustainable development in communities.
