Abstract
Blackburn's (2012) recent book invites readers to consider literacy as a tool for engaging lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth and their allies in the service of fostering a positive school climate. Her use of concrete examples, learned experiences from facilitating diverse literary performances, and insightful assimilation of relevant literature all result in an informative, engaging, and inspiring text.

Nicholas A. Livingston
Nicholas A. Livingston is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Montana. His areas of interest center on issues related to LGBT health, substance misuse, and reducing the health disparity observed among marginalized populations.
Bryan N. Cochran
Bryan N. Cochran received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Montana in Missoula, where he has been on faculty since 2003. His areas of interest include LGBT mental health, LGBT-affirmative therapy, and substance abuse and dependence. His work in these areas has been funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and he has authored numerous articles on issues pertaining to LGBT mental well-being.
