ABSTRACT
This research is a longitudinal study of 77 articles on hotel corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices published in tourism and hospitality journals indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index. Content analysis is used to evaluate the nature of the articles, including the article profile, use of theories, use of research approaches, and research themes. A timeline is created to compare the development of the research areas over a decade. Findings confirm the development of hotel CSR research in the aforementioned areas, but increased attention is necessary to improve the research subject further. Consequently, the quality of academic activities and practical operations in hotel CSR can be enhanced.
本项研究是以77篇发表在社会科学引文数据库中的有关酒店企业社会责任实践的文章为对象,开展的一项纵向研究。通过内容分析法来评估文章的核心要素,包括文章的基本情况、理论与研究方法的使用和研究的主题。同时,借助时间线来比较十年来该研究领域的发展情况。研究结果证实,在上述领域中,有关酒店企业社会责任的研究均取得了一定的进步,但是为了进一步发展该研究领域,学术界需投入更多的关注。只有这样,有关酒店企业社会责任的学术研究和实践运行质量才能得到持续的提升。
