Ruth Penfold-Mounce is Lecturer in Criminology, University of York, UK. Her research interests include the relationship celebrity shares with crime (Celebrity Culture and Crime, 2009) and also politics. Ruth is currently expanding her work into the macabre via explorations of popular culture representations of corpses, forensics and organ donation.
