Linda Shaver-Gleason earned her PhD in musicology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2016). She has presented papers at conferences in the US and UK, including meetings of the American Musicological Society. Her blog, ‘Not Another Music History Cliché’, debunks musical myths and discusses classical music culture.
