Welcome to the third issue of 2018. This issue consists of nine papers.

The first paper by Sunil and Balakrishna investigates the performance and emissions characteristics of test fuel blends of banalities aegyptiaca biodiesel.

The second paper by Mohamedmusthafa reviews different thermal barrier coating materials for engine components and the effects on performance and emissions when running on various biodiesels.

In the third paper, Kadapure et al. investigate the optimisation of biodiesel production from waste cooking oil and palm oil.

The fourth paper by Giacchetta et al. presents an innovative process for the management of end of life thin-film photovoltaic panels.

The next paper by Ilias et al. assesses the recycling and subsequent production of new photovoltaic modules in a concept module recycling plant in Greece.

In the sixth paper by Chowdhury and Kashem, an H loop-shaping controller for a grid-connected single-phase PV system is presented.

The seventh paper by Jáuregui et al. evaluates the hydrogen production of strains of genus Clostridium using glycerol as a carbon source. They conclude that glycerol could be exploited as a carbon source for hydrogen production.

Next, Sangwan et al. report on a case study assessing the environmental impact of a vitrified ceramic floor tile supply chain using life cycle assessment.

Finally, Habidin at al. examine the critical success factors of sustainable manufacturing practices in the Malaysian automotive industry.
