About the Author

Breena Holland is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Environmental Initiative at Lehigh University. She is the author of Allocating the Earth: A Distributional Framework for Protecting Capabilities in Environmental Law and Policy (Oxford University Press, 2014) and a number of articles and book chapters that draw on the capabilities approach to address environmental problems. Her current research explores the procedural dimension of capabilities justice in local environmental disputes.
