Abstract
This study utilized 2014 data from the Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) to explore the association between Black college students’ perceptions of the campus diversity climate and academic outcomes, including academic behaviors, engagement, GPA and satisfaction with the academic and social experience. Findings revealed climate perceptions were positively associated with positive academic engagement and negatively associated with negative engagement. Climate perceptions also positively influenced GPA and satisfaction with the academic and social experience.
