Catherine Moriarty
Catherine Moriarty is Curatorial Director of the University of Brighton Design Archives and Professor of Art and Design History. Co-author of the Lund Humphries monograph on Abram Games published in 2003, she wrote about Cuban posters for the 2008 Brighton Photo Biennial and, in 2013, the article Drawing, Writing and Curating: Barbara Jones and the Art of Arrangement to accompany the Whitechapel Gallery exhibition ‘Black Eyes & Lemonade: Curating Popular Art’. She is currently leading an Arts & Humanities Research Council project ‘Exploring British Design’ that investigates professional networks in the context of the archive.
