Dialogue: Feminism, Identities, and the Substantive Representation of Women on the Right – Crafting a Global Dialogue

Radical-right cooptation of feminism in Israel: a case study

Pages 152-156 | Published online: 03 Oct 2021

ABSTRACT

This article explores how purportedly feminist and far-right commitments are at times in alignment with each other and how political bargaining between feminist agendas and racist radical-right agendas creates new alliances. This unusual alliance advances the radical-right ethnonationalist objective that further undermines the civil and political rights of an already disenfranchised population: Palestinian men and women.
