Notes on contributor

I teach at The Bronx High School of Science and have been a high school English teacher for 14 years. I'm a doctoral student in English Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. In my research, I'm interested in how we work discursively and in improvisational ways. I'm interested in this at all levels including how students learn, how seasoned professionals teach, how new educators learn and how improvisational practice works in other professions. I am married to an amazing woman and I have two wonderful children.
