In the current HV&I Reviewer Highlight, we are pleased to recognize Dr. Cesarius Singgih Wahono and his service to the scientific community.
Dr. Wahono is an internist rheumatologist at Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine Universitas Brawijaya, Saiful Anwar General Hospital, Malang, Indonesia. He was awarded fellowships at Shanghai Second Medical University and Free University Medical Center Amsterdam. His PhD project focused on the role of vitamin D and curcumin in systemic lupus erythematosus, and his research continues to investigate pathogenesis and clinical aspects of autoimmune diseases and immunology. He is a member of Indonesia Rheumatology Association, Indonesian Society of Allergy and Immunology, Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology and its Special Interest Group on Spondyloarthritis. He is also working in Covid-19-related research and vaccine projects in Indonesia.
