Abstract
Three Noctuidae genera – Parexarnis Boursin, 1946, Hemiexarnis Boursin, 1948, and Albocosta Fibiger & Lafontaine, 1997 – have been reviewed in Iran. Diagnostic features of the genera and their species are discussed. Albocosta herculea (Corti & Draudt, 1933) is reported for the fauna of Iran for the first time. Illustrations of an adult specimen and male genitalia of the newly recorded species are presented.
Peržiūrėtos trys pelėdgalvinių gentys Parexarnis Boursin, 1946, Hemiexarnis Boursin, 1948 ir Albocosta Fibiger & Lafontaine, 1997 Irane. Aptariami genčių ir jų rūšių skiriamieji bruožai. A. herculea (Corti & Draudt, 1933) užregistruota Irane pirmą kartą. Pateikiamos šios naujos rūšies suaugusio vabzdžio ir vyriškų genitalijų iliustracijos.
