Abstract
Egg parasitoids of the pistachio stink bug, Brachynema germari (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) were collected in pistachio orchards in Kerman province, Iran using rearing and egg-trap methods. The rearing of egg parasitoids confirmed the presence of two families, Scelionidae (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupoidea) and Encyrtidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea). In total, seven species representing two genera of the family Scelionidae (Psix and Trissolcus) and two species belonging to the genus Ooencyrtus of the family Encyrtidae were collected and identified. Four species of them, i.e. T. deserticola, T. niceppe, T. oobius and O. egeria, are newly recorded from Iran. Seven new host-parasitoid associations were determined. An identification key to these species is provided.
