This study contributes to the complex adaptive system theory by offering a valid hierarchical model to evaluate the theory’s important features related to resilience. The garment industry in Bangladesh encountered disruption in the supply chain during the COVID-19 pandemic and the supply chain competencies played a vital role in overcoming the crisis.
