ABSTRACT

We investigated the associations of wellness and the features of emerging adulthood as predictors of counseling leadership behaviors among 210 counselors-in-training. Participants’ wellness, as well as engagement in their Chi Sigma Iota chapter, significantly predicted their counseling leadership behaviors. Emerging adulthood features of identity exploration, possibilities, self-focus, and instability revealed significant weak correlations with counseling leadership behaviors.
