Brianne Taylor
Brianne Taylor is currently teaching voice and speech in the actor training programs at West Virginia University. She received her MFA in acting from WVU, a BFA in theatre/performance from Emporia State University (Kansas), is an Assistant Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®, and a candidate for certification in Knight-Thompson Speechwork. She is interested in the vibrational and energetic capabilities of the physical and psychological voice. Her current project is development of region-based performance (Great Plains, Appalachia) exploring the anthropology of the femme voice and how it defines, evolves, and co-exsits with the masculine-dominate agricultural lifestyles.
