11 Sayyid Qutb (1906–66) is an Egyptian writer and philosopher. He is one of the advocates and proponents of the ideas of the Muslim Brotherhood and author of Milestones—probably his best-known work—in which he expounds his views on the Koran and Islamic culture in Muslim society.
12 Kamal Naji (1951–2009) is the second-highest ranking official in the Organization for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon. A close collaborator and follower of Yasir Arafat, he played a major role in strengthening dialogue between Syria, Lebanon, and the Palestinian community.

Miroslav Zafirov
Miroslav Zafirov holds degrees in Middle Eastern history and Hebrew from St. Petersburg State University and the New Bulgarian University in Sofia. He formerly worked in the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served in his country's diplomatic mission in Kuwait, and as chargé d'affaires and head of mission at its embassy in Doha. Mr. Zafirov regularly writes on Middle Eastern history and contemporary Arab politics.
