ABSTRACT
The potential of this work is based on consideration of wear performance for the evaluation of abrasive wear of titanium micro particles reinforced thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) composites. The particulates used in the composite are 1, 2 and 4 wt%. The influence of filler material on weight loss, wear index and specific wear rate on abrasive wear performance were studied and evaluated. The ploughing of particles from the specimen surface shows the higher wt% of titanium micro particles increases the wear rate in comparison with lower wt% with respect to the shore hardness of the composite.
