Ben T. Pettis
Ben Pettis is a PhD candidate in Media and Cultural Studies in the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a researcher in platform studies and critical internet studies, and examines the power dynamics and relationships that exist between individual users and online platforms along with interoperability and data portability between institutions and their systems.
