ABSTRACT
Thermally conductive polymer nanocomposites are more beneficial compared to metal parts in applications like wearable electronics, flexible displays, and electrical devices. This paper presents a comprehensive review of recent progress and advancements in thermally conductive polymer nanocomposites. The main emphasis has been given to the synthesis methods, advancements of polymer materials blended with thermally conductive filler materials and applications that evolved in recent years. Furthermore, the article also covers the technological challenges being faced and the future research scope of thermally conductive polymer nanocomposites. This article provides insightful motivation for designing and developing novel thermally conductive polymer nanocomposites.

Suraj Vairagade is pursuing his Ph.D. degree from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bajaj Institute of Technology Wardha, since 2017. His research contributions involve Additive manufacturing and micro channel heat exchangers.

Narendra Kumar is Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Production Engineering Department at Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur. His research work was based on the Development and Performance Evaluation of Pellet-based Additive Manufacturing Process for Flexible Parts. His research interests are broadly related to Additive Manufacturing, Machining Methods, and Material Development.
Ravi Pratap Singh
Ravi Pratap Singh is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. He has published more than 150 research articles throughout the several SCI/Scopus indexed journals, including International/National level conferences. His research articles have received more than 5000 citations around the globe. He has also been ranked among the top 2% of Scientists in the world as per the survey conducted by STANFORD University for the year 2021 and 2022.
