Responses to Kleinman (2021) and to Bernet, Rohner, and Reay (2021)

Abstract

This is a final response to statements by Kleinman and Bernet, Rohner, and Reay critiquing a commentary (Mercer) on the discussion of parental alienation issues in a paper by Bernet, Gregory, Rohner, and Reay. The author maintains that it is appropriate to call existing parental alienation work pseudoscientific, and adds to the previous comments some concerns about the use of Likert-type scales.
