Retinal Image Stabilizing Systems for Experiments on Colour

&
Pages 91-96 | Published online: 03 Dec 2010

Abstract

Two methods are described for first stabilizing the retinal image and then applying movements (under the control of the experimenter) to one or more boundaries, leaving the remaining boundaries stabilized. These systems have been used for studying the effect of moving boundaries between areas of different colour. They are, however, applicable to a wide range of problems.
