Contents of lead in foods and diet in Finland in the early 1990s

Abstract

Pb contents of several food groups consumed in Finland were determined, and intake of Pb from the average Finnish diet was calculated using the data obtained and food balance sheets. Pb contents of foods were significantly lower than those in the 1970s. The calculated average daily Pb intake was about 12 μg.
