Abstract

A new promising mimetic peroxidase, manganese-tetra-sulfonatophthalocyanine (MnTSPc) has been synthesized and applied to the determination of hydrogen peroxide based on its catalytic effect on the chemiluminescence reaction between luminol and hydrogen peroxide. Under optimum conditions, the calibration graph has a linear range of 4.0 × 10−8–2.0 × 10−5 mol/l hydrogen peroxide, the detection limit of the method is 6.8 × 10−9 mol/l. At a hydrogen peroxide concentration of 1.0 × 10−6 mol/l, the relative standard deviation is 2.4% (n = 10).
