TRAZODONE AND PRIAPISM—IMPLICATIONS FOR RESPONSES TO ADVERSE EVENTS

Abstract

The development of information concerning priapism induced by trazodone is reviewed. Some of the special problems involved in dealing with this adverse drug reaction are considered. Recent improvements in information transfer with respect to adverse drug reactions are discussed and the design of patient advisory documents considered.
