EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS OF THE 5-HT_2C RECEPTOR AGONIST, ORG 37684

Abstract

An efficient synthesis of the 5-HT_2C receptor agonist Org 37684 is presented. The synthesis utilises the regioselective demethylation of an arylether as the key step.
