ABSTRACT

Unusual conversion of Sugar-oximes to sugar-nitriles in the presence of ruthenium catalysts such as Cl2(PCy3)2Ru=CHPh, Cl2Ru(PPh3) and RuCl3 in benzene at 60°C was reported.
