ABSTRACT
Hexacoordinate silicon compounds with the tetradentate azomethine ligand N,N′-ethylenebis(2-hydroxyacetophenoneimine) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations and spectral (IR, 1H, 13C and 29Si NMR) studies. The data clearly demonstrate the octahedral geometry around the silicon atom.
