Synthesis of Monocyclic β‐Lactams via Cyclodehydration of β‐Amino Acids Using POCl₃

Abstract

β‐Lactams 2 have been synthesized through a convenient use of POCl₃ via cyclodehydration of β‐amino acids 1.
