The Reaction of Aromatic Dialdehyde with Dimedone Under Microwave Irradiation

Abstract

The bis‐oxanthene, bis‐polyhydroacridine, and bisN‐hydroxylacridine derivatives were obtained by the reaction of aromatic dialdehyde with dimedone in ethylene glycol under microwave irradiation. The reaction time was shot and the yield was high.
