Abstract

Two β‐azidocyclopropanecarboxylates are readily synthesized from β‐bromoalkyliden malonates via a Michael–initiated ring closure (MIRC) reaction in moderate yields, which are regarded as precursors of β‐aminocyclopropanecarboxylic acids.
